  "1865" A unique piece of memorabilia, this work displays the scrimshaw portaits of American Civil War legends Lincoln, Grant, and Lee. Each portrait is on a large domed cabachon of mammoth ivory, wrapped in hand-wrought sterling silver. The hand crafted base is cocobolo wood uniquely carved to display the three portraits. An accent of inlaid sterling silver highlights the base around the portraits. Attached to the base are the title and names, also scrimshawed on mammoth ivory.
