 "Galileo" A plantive Galileo staring upwards to the starry heavens and Saturn. Galileo and Saturn are both scrimshaw on mammoth ivory and are intricately inlaid in intarsia style into the base of rare ebony. Floating in the heavens are three stars of precious stones – a bright ruby, a dark saphire and a brilliant garnet. The base is uniquely carved ebony. It's sides represent the angle of the pyramids reaching for the heavens, while the top is curved to reflect the Earth that Galileo must forever stand upon.
