  "Winter Hunter" This award winning work is of a large mountain cougar scrimshawed on a beautifully curved, extremely thick bark segment of mammoth ivory. This beautiful artifact is mounted on a unique, hand carved base of cocobolo wood. Cocoblo is an extremly dense and heavy exotic hardwood. Its beautiful, deep-grained firmness is approximate to ebony. The title is also scrimshawed on mammoth ivory and attached to the base.
