The kanji on this pendant means "Shaolin Fist Way," the kanji of the shaolin kempo art taught by "United Studios of Self Defense." The necklace is hand-knotted natural leather Kanji is the ancient third alphabet. Kanji was imported over the centuries from China. The pictograms are typically complex and have different readings and meanings depending on how they're combined with other kanji. They represent ideas or words rather than syllables.
