This award winning work is scrimshaw on a unique half-round piece of mammoth ivory tusk. The beautiful colors of the ancient ivory are incorporated into the scrimshawed image to create a unique work of art.
The base is hand carved Ebony from Makassar with an inlaid highlight of hand wrought copper.
